Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Blackpool for a Practice Development Manager to work full-time.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £38,813 - £42,683 per annum.
Duties:
- Working with the Principal Social Worker, the service supports our workforce, across Children and Families Service, to implement Blackpool Families Rock and our new 'Working Well with Families across Lancashire' principals
- work in partnership with our Human Resource colleagues, taking a lead in organising all recruitment processes, supporting staff who are absent from work in their return to work and work alongside individual staff and teams to support their practice development
- We also reflect on learning from complaints using a restorative methodology and develop Policies and Procedures to clearly reflect new ways of working
Requirements of the Practice Development Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services.
