Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Assess and manage MSK foot and ankle patients within the community service, ensuring thorough and effective care.
- Orthotic Solutions: Provide tailored orthotic solutions for patients requiring support for MSK conditions.
- Referral Management: Refer patients for diagnostics when necessary, ensuring comprehensive and effective care pathways.
- Steroid Injections: Offer advice on potential steroid injections and manage the related procedures, if required.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and provide holistic care.
Requirements:
- UK Experience: Advanced Podiatrist Practitioner (APP) or MSK Physiotherapist with a special interest in podiatry.
- HCPC Registration: Must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Desirable: Experience in referring for diagnostics and administering steroid injections.
