Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Placements Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Services based in Sutton, within the Fostering Team.
The pay rate for this locum Placements Manager job is £40 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Managing a small team of 2 Placement Officers and a Support Officer.
- Overseeing day to day operations and working closely alongside the Commissioning Service to procure services.
- Closely monitor external placement budgets and spend.
- Negotiate funding and undertake placement searches for Children in care
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential.
