Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Physiotherapist to work full-time based in Worksop, within the Community Mental Health Team.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 5-month ongoing contract.
Main Duties:
- To provide physiotherapy to individuals with mental health needs including dementia who are referred to the service.
- To ensure a high-quality physiotherapy service is provided through multi-disciplinary, multi-agency working. To carry out specialist assessment, goal setting, implementation of treatment programmes and evaluation which seek to work in partnership with service users and their carers in a recovery and positive risk-taking approach.
- To represent and promote the specialist role of physiotherapy within the team including involvement with service planning and development.
- Professional support will be provided by the Physiotherapy Clinical Specialist and AHP Lead for MHSOP in addition to team leader.
- To contribute in the supervision and clinical support of physiotherapy students on placement in the service.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist.
- Recent post-qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist.
- Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle.
