Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Intensive Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to work full-time based in Havering.
The pay rate for this locum Intensive Rehabilitation Physiotherapist job is £30.97 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Working Hours:
- Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
- Will consider reduced hours or flexible working.
Main Duties:
- Community-based rehabilitation within specific Nursing Homes.
- Caseload consists of patients on the Discharge To Assess (D2A) pathway that currently require new 24 hour care and have potential to progress to having less dependent needs.
- Deconditioning from acute hospital.
- Deconditioning post infection such as UTI, RTI.
- Falls.
- Rehabilitation of orthopaedic patients.
- PD.
- COPD.
- Post-Covid Rehabilitation.
- Lead on initial assessments and rehabilitation needs for complex patients and be an integral part of the MDT, working closely with fellow Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Social Workers, Nursing Home staff, and the wider MDT.
Requirements of the Intensive Rehabilitation Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist.
- Recent post-qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist.
- Previous community experience.
- Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle is ideal. Non-car drivers would also be considered.
