Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Inpatient Mental Health Physiotherapist to work full-time in Bolton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £25.23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties of the Physiotherapist:
- To provide an efficient and effective Physiotherapy service to patients with organic and functional Mental Health needs across the inpatient wards, outreaching into patient's homes and community venues as necessary.
- To manage a defined case load using evidence -based and person centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate Physiotherapy interventions.
- To encourage and advise on Health Promotion and the appropriate exercise options available.
- To participate in the supervision of junior staff and student Physiotherapists on clinical placement.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- Post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
- Must be a car driver
