Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Physiotherapist to work remotely based in Reading, within the Pain Medicine Department.

The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.

Duties:

  • Undertake an Advanced Clinical Practitioner clinical and leadership role within the Department of Pain Medicine
  • Act as clinical lead for developing, restructuring and delivering group-based pain rehabilitation group programmes relevant speciality within the Therapies service
  • Work as a senior decision maker, in the absence of a consultant, in a clinic setting seeing new and follow up patients
  • Act as an expert Advanced Clinical Practitioner and leader within the wider Musculoskeletal Therapies Team
  • Support the Head of Therapies in the development of relevant service and clinical initiatives and modernisations
  • Work alongside Medical Clinical Lead of Pain Medicine to provide expert training, advice and clinical education to service providers, service users and service commissioners
  • Provide a highly specialist standard of musculoskeletal assessment, treatment and management for patients from all referral sources, in order to maximise patients rehabilitation outcomes

Requirements of the Physiotherapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy and HCPC registered
  • Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
  • Previous NHS experience
