Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within a Rehab Unit based in Finchley.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Physiotherapist job is £30-33 per hour (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Be an active member of the specialist multi-disciplinary team on Marjory Warren and Adams ward
- Provide highly specialist assessments and treatments of patients who require general rehabilitation including complex pathologies
- Take a lead role for physiotherapy on the rehabilitation unit working closely with the Modern Matron and other senior members of the multidisciplinary team
- Be responsible for the supervision and line management of junior staff, including rotational staff, rehabilitation assistants and students
- Work within professional standards and clinical guidelines, promoting best practice and undertaking all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner
- Ensure a high standard of physiotherapy practice on the unit
- Support self and staff development through active participation in continuing professional development (CPD) and by participating in research or audit being undertaken by the service
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist
