Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Intermediate Care Physiotherapist to work full-time based in Belfast.
The pay rate for this locum Physiotherapist job is £20.46 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- To manage a complex caseload assessing and treating adults and setting a high standard of care, using safe, effective and appropriate techniques.
- To record assessments, treatment plans and the outcome of all interventions and collect data as required by the Physiotherapy Service Intermediate Care Service and the Trust.
- To be aware of and implement professional best practice in adherence to Clinical Governance requirements.
- To supervise and support junior grades of staff and students when required.
- To liaise with other professionals ensuring good communication in the interests of effective and high-quality care for the users and carers.
- To promote multi-disciplinary working by co-operating with staff of other disciplines in Health and Social Services and other agencies, especially around issues which may be complex and potentially stressful.
- To work flexibly to meet the needs of the service this may include seven day working; cover at weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy.
- HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist.
- Minimum of two years post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist.
