Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Pharmacy Technician to fill a full-time role in Luton.
The pay rate for this locum Pharmacy Technician job is £19-£20 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties of the Pharmacy Technician:
- Co-ordinates and maintains medication supply to wards and teams.
- Assess patients' individual pharmaceutical care needs within 72 hours of identification.
- Initiates medicines reconciliation for newly admitted patients.
- Is a key member of the Multidisciplinary Team, participating in weekly team meetings in order to maximise patients potential for independent medicines management.
- To participate in dispensary duties.
- To prepare discharge medication (TTAs) and leave medication in a timely and efficient manner.
- To communicate discharge information to Community Pharmacies and GPs.
Requirements of the Pharmacy Technician:
- Must have pharmacy experience
- GPHC Registration
- 2 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician
