Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Personal Advisors to work full-time in Lambeth, within the Leaving Care Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for these locum Personal Advisor jobs is paying £28.07 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
3x Personal Advisors to work within the Leaving Care Team
Requirements of the Personal Advisor:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Must have experience of working with challenging young people from a diverse background
- Must understand the needs of Care Leavers who have been 'looked after' by the local authority
- Must have good report writing skills
- Can manage a caseload of 25 Care Leavers with varying degrees of intervention
- Must be a team player and who has a positive attitude towards Care Leavers and can help them see their potential
- Be able to develop good relationships with young people and who can motivate them to become more independent and face the challenges of life.
