Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Paediatric Community Occupational Therapist to work in Newbury on a full-time basis within the SEN/Disabled Children's Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £28 - £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract. As post holder you will be working 29 hours a week.
Duties:
- To work with the main functions of assessment, leading to: - provision of equipment, advice on adaptations, independence training and advice to parents/carers.
- To work within the context of current legislation and policies.
- To work in a flexible manner providing an effective and comprehensive service to children with disabilities and their families.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver.
