Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work full-time Bedford & Luton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25.23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 6-month contract.
Due to COVID we are mainly using virtual platforms for assessment and face to face only where essential.
Duties:
- Mainly involve assessment of children with functional difficulties e.g. eating, dressing, recording information in school with coordination difficulties. Rather than children requiring seating or equipment for those with a physical disability. They would therefore have to have experience of using standard and non-standardised assessments used with this group of children.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- 2 years' experience
- Must be a car driver
