Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5/6/7 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Haringey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £23 - £32 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties:
- Provide a high quality, evidence based occupational therapy service which promotes participation and functional activity of children and young people accessing the occupational therapy services.
- Lead in delivering child and family focused, goal-led interventions at a specialist level for children and young people accessing occupational therapy service in collaboration with multidisciplinary health, therapy and education teams.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Experience in working with Children aged 0-19 who have functional difficulties attributable to a wide range of special needs or disabilities.
- Experience of working with CYP with additional needs
