Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in North London for an Outreach & Day Oppurtunities Manager. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.
As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum.
Duties:
- Work with the Head of Service and other relevant colleagues to develop a specific Positive Behavioural Support provision within the provisions delegated to you.
- Support with grant funding and monitoring for equipment and resources if required.
- Support the management of the devolved budget for the provisions delegated to you, ensuring all policies, procedures and financial safeguards are complied with along with ensuring that the service represents value for money.
- Liaise with and present to social workers, commissioners and other professional persons to ensure regular new referrals to the service; managing referrals and ensuring waiting lists are monitored to ensure vacancies are filled promptly.
- Provide a regular accurate handover to the Head of Service in order to ensure that any outstanding tasks are actioned and allocated on a priority basis. Ensure that all Project Manager tasks are completed each week.
Requirements of the Outreach & Day Oppurtunities Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Experience within a similar role
