Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Older Adults Mental Health Occupational Therapist to work based in Bulwell.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 per hour (assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Provide a specialist occupational therapy service for older adults with mental health needs and adults of any age living with dementia.
- The occupational therapy service delivers individual assessments, formulation, specific interventions and evaluations, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- To demonstrate active clinical and managerial leadership skills within the team, providing education and supervision to none-registered staff including students and
- Represent and promote the specialist role of occupational therapy, including service planning and development.
- Undertake the role of practice placement educator for occupational therapy students and providing placement opportunities in accordance with local agreements and standards and will support students from other disciplines
- This post holder will be based within Mental health services for older people directorate and will provide occupational therapy service as directed by the AHP Lead/OT Clinical Specialist to any area requiring occupational therapy support
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- Recent post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Must drive
