Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated ODP/Theatre Practitioner to work full-time based in Falklands.

The pay rate for this locum ODP/Theatre Practitioner role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 6-month contract.

Role purpose:

  • Manage the operating theatre and resources to ensure the provision of a quality operating theatre service that allows the surgeon and anaesthetist to operate in a safe and effective environment.
  • Assist throughout the patient pathway, in theatre, providing casting, supporting the anaesthetist and surgeon and staff with major trauma and intensive care, undertaking decontamination and sterilisation for the whole health service and nursing service.
  • Undertake specific responsibility for a designated area of work and development within nursing.

Requirements of the ODP/Theatre Practitioner:

  • Valid NMC registration
  • Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse
  • A degree or equivalent within Nursing
