Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Services Occupational Therapist to work based in Guildford, Elmbridge, East Surrey, or Reigate and Banstead, within the Moving & Handling / Adaptations Team.

The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £28-£32 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 6-month contract.

Job 1 Occupational Therapist for Guildford Locality:

  • The working pattern is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Ideally looking for someone full time (36 hours per week) but would also consider someone part-time.

  • 2 Occupational Therapists to join Guildford locality team to provide additional support to the service.

  • It is a social care locality team working with adults and older people in the community of Guildford and surrounding areas.

  • Become part of the existing OT team consisting of 4 OTs, an OT trainee, an OT assistant and OT assistant team manager.

  • The role would be a mixture of office based and home working.

  • You would be required to visit people in their own homes in and around the Guildford area (with appropriate PPE provided), as well as completing remote assessments via MS teams, facetime etc.

  • Attendance in the office may also be required (with social distancing measures in place), however there is some flexibility in relation to office presence. Ideally a minimum of 1-2 days presence in the office for full timers. Further discussion can be had at interview regarding remote working options.

Requirements:

  • Experience of completing moving and handling risk assessments, major and minor housing adaptations and assessing for, prescribing, and reviewing adaptive equipment.

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.

  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.

Job 2 Occupational Therapists for Elmbridge Locality:

  • The working pattern is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Ideally looking for someone full time (36 hours per week) but would also consider someone part-time.

  • Looking for 2 Occupational Therapists to join the Elmbridge locality team to provide additional support to the service.

  • The team is a friendly and supportive Adult Social Care locality team working with adults and older people within the Elmbridge area of Surrey.

  • Become part of the existing OT team consisting of 2x Part time OT, 1x Full Time OT 1 x Full time OT, 1x Senior OT.

  • It would be a mix of working from home with attendance in the office when required.

  • You will be required to visit people in their own homes within the Elmbridge area, as well as completing remote assessments via MS teams, facetime etc.

  • A further discussion regarding our remote working options can take place at interview.

Requirements:

  • Experience of completing moving and handling risk assessments, major and minor housing adaptations and assessing for, prescribing, and reviewing adaptive equipment. 

    • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.

    • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.

Job 3 Occupational Therapists for East Surrey Hospital, Redhill:

  • Working pattern is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Ideally, we are looking for full time staff (36 hours per week).

  • Looking for 2 Occupational Therapists to join our Adult Social Care department at East Surrey Hospital in Redhill.

  • This role is part of the discharge to assess function and aimed at recovery ensure that care and support is appropriate and right sized for the individual.

  • As a member of the team may be required to complete mental capacity assessments, participate in Continuing Health Care assessments and functional assessments.

  • Would be required to visit people in their own homes, care home or supported accommodation within the East Surrey area (with appropriate PPE provided).

  • Some home working, remote assessments via MS Teams and facetime may be applicable but mainly aimed at face-to-face assessments.

  • Social distancing measures are in place and PPE to be provided as required to fulfil the duties.

Requirements:

  • Experience of completing moving and handling risk assessments, major and minor housing adaptations and assessing for, prescribing, and reviewing adaptive equipment is required for this role.

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.

  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.

Job 4 Occupational Therapist for Reigate and Banstead Locality:

  • The working pattern is Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Ideally, we are looking for someone full time (36 hours per week) but would also consider someone part-time.

  • Looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Reigate and Banstead Locality to provide additional support to the service.

  • The team are a social care locality team working with adults and older people within the Reigate and Banstead area.

  • It would be a mix of working from home with attendance in the office when required (with social distancing measures in place).

  • You will be required to visit people in their own homes within the Reigate and Banstead area (with appropriate PPE provided), as well as completing remote assessments via MS teams, facetime etc

Requirements:

  • Experience of completing moving and handling risk assessments, major and minor housing adaptations and assessing for, prescribing, and reviewing adaptive equipment.

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.

  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
