Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Services Occupational Therapist to work based in Southwark.

The pay rate for this locum Social Services Occupational Therapist job is £36.75 per hour (assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.

Main Duties:

  • Implementation of a strength-based approach across the service, ensuring an effective and efficient use of resources to provide a quality person centred service.
  •  Involves a combination of home and office-based working.
  •  Work closely with the Social Worker Team Manager in Case Management to ensure the successful day to day running of the Team.
  • Provide direct Line Management support for Occupational Therapist and Social Worker Senior Practitioners and work closely with Southwark's Principle Occupational Therapist and Equipment Lead to ensure best practice is embedded in all work completed within the team.

Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum two years post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
