Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to work full-time within a REACT/Rapid Response Team based in Aylesbury. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rates for this locum Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist job is £25 - £49.11 per hour (Assignment rate) depending on shifts, availability and experience.
Days: £25 - £30 per hour
Saturdays/Nights: Up to £38.92 per hour
Sundays: Up to £49.11
Main Duties:
- Undertake the two hour urgent response to assess the patient and set up the care plan and short term care to keep the person at home.
- Undertake clinical triage with referrers as required.
- The team will also work closely with social care as well as REACT, A&E staff and Frailty Practitioners in the emergency department to support patients home from A&E with a 2 hour response where appropriate.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a Car Driver
