Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Services Occupational Therapist to work full time based in Walsall, within the Single-Handed Care Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Services Occupational Therapist job is £28 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Adopt a strengths-based approach to deliver care.
- Adopt the Single Carer philosophy.
- Promote a collaborative approach and our Social Care team are engaging with colleagues at the acute and with Dom Care providers to maximise skills and understanding.
- Assess and review people in their own homes.
- Complete appropriate documentation. The nature of this work is face to face.
Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum two years post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Able to travel around the Walsall borough – full driving licence and access to personal vehicle.
- Agile worker.
