Sanctuary Personnel, a competitive and renowned recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work full-time in a Response & Rehabilitation Team in Teddington. The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £30-£31 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract. Weekend working is available for this role.
About the role:

The purpose of the Richmond Response & Rehabilitation Team is to work with clients, carers and rehab support workers to maximise clients physical and social functioning to enable them to remain within the community for as long as possible.

The multi-disciplinary team (OT, Physio, Nurse, SW, Therapy assistant, Dietician) undertake elements of hospital discharge work including hospital liaison, case finding and Discharge to Assess.

The aim of the service is to reduce inappropriate hospital admission, minimise hospital length of stay and support vulnerable clients at home, this Occupational Therapy role works within a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team and in partnership with primary health care and social care professionals, providing expert case management, clinical assessment, and creating individualised client centred goals, promoting self management.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy

HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist

Must have 2 years' experience
