Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Services Peadiatric Occupational Therapist to work in Tameside on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £26.00 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must be a car driver
Responsibilities
- Work in the community managing a varied case load which includes complex cases
- Responsible for assessing, evaluation and supporting the needs of children/young people with disabilities
- Making recommendations for appropriate interventions, including equipment and adaptations
- Demonstrate to families and Carer's alternative ways of carrying out daily living tasks, to promote and maintain children/young people's independence
