Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Aylesbury on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25-£28 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- The Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team in Buckinghamshire Mental Health Services is a key part of the Urgent Care Pathway meeting the demands of the Ten-Year Plan. Clinicians employed into the team are part of an exciting and developing service aimed at supporting our most vulnerable patients and their families in the least restrictive setting possible, by providing a variety of highly intensive interventions at home.
- We require clinicians who can bring their own professional expertise to a fast-paced team, and who are confident in managing risk in the least restrictive way. By its nature, crisis work requires professionals who have a broad range of skills including being skilled mental health assessors with a proven ability to signpost service users towards the most effective treatment pathways.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Previous experience in working within a community setting is desirable
