Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Adult Inpatient Mental Health Occupational Therapist to work in Stockport. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24.00 - £24.90 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Duties of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Carry out individual and group interventions across two adult inpatient wards.
  • Responsibilities will include carrying a clinical caseload, conducting OT assessments and reports based on the Model of Human Occupation.
  • Communicate effectively and flexibly in order to work effectively within both multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • Degree or equivalent in occupational therapy
  • 2 years occupational therapy experience
