Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Ruddington and Nottingham, within the Mental Health and Dementia Teams.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 6-month ongoing contract.
Provide occupational therapy specifically to individuals with mental health needs including dementia who are referred to the service
Ensure a high quality Occupational Therapy Service is provided through multi-disciplinary, multi-agency working. To carry out specialist assessment, goal setting, implementation of treatment programmes and evaluation which seek to work in partnership with service users and their carers in a recovery and positive risk taking approach
Represent and promote the specialist role of Occupational Therapy within the team including involvement with service planning and development.
Link into the wider OT network in Nottingham and will work co-operatively with colleagues to ensure high quality service provision and gain opportunities for support and Continual Professional Development opportunities.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
At least two years of experience either pre or post qualification.
Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle.
