Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Mental Health Occupational Therapist to work full-time based in Northampton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Summary:
- As postholder of this role you will be responsible for completing mental health assessments, risk assessments and short term intervention as part of the Primary Care Liaison team.
- The team is based at Campbell house but covering GP surgeries providing short term community mental health work.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must have experience of mental health assessments and ideally short term pieces of work within a mental health setting.
- Must be competent using SystmOne and have a Smart card.
- Must be a car driver as this role is based predominantly at Campbell House with some work from home due to COVID 19. Will also be expected to cover some shifts in Rushden at the Integrated Response Hub.
