Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Hereford, with a focus on working with Community Major Adaptations on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £27.16 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a contract until Mid May.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- At least 2 years post qualifying experience within a similar role as an Occupational therapist
- Experience in major adaptations, as part of an initiative to decrease waiting times for major adaptations assessments and reviews
- Good knowledge of DFG eligibility and processes is required
- Experience in assessing for the full range of major adaptations to provide access to relevant facilities in clients own homes
- Must be a car driver
