Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Learning Disabilities Occupational Therapist to work in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £30 - £32 per hour (Assignment Rate) and is a ongoing contract.
Job Summary:
Working with adults with disabilities in the community for local authority. Carrying out statutory assessments under legs such as the Care Act 2014 and Housing Grants Construction and Regeneration Act 1996. Prescribing equipment, adaptations, reablement and where appropriate with training - safeguarding.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
