Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Intervention/Rehab Occupational Therapist to work in Solihull on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24 to £28 per hour (Assignment rate) and is until August 2021.
About the role:
- Support the social care operation in meeting case demands and regular influx of cases being passed through our One front Door operation onto Community Occupational Therapy where long term needs are evident to enable a resident to be as independent as possible
- Assessment, case-holding and case progression, identification of suitable interventions, implementing interventions, liaison with partners in Housing, Health, and wider social care and more
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- This post requires explicit social care experience at a qualified OT level with Local Authority
- Familiarity and up to date skills with moving & handling, minor equipment provision, major and minor adaptations, safeguarding and more is essential
- Must be a car driver
- Blue Badge experience
