Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Birmingham on a full-time basis, within the Falls/Community Team.

The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25.04 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.

Duties:

  • Act as an experienced practitioner for Occupational Therapy within the Adults and Community Division
  • Ensure access to urgent and routine Occupational Therapist assessment and intervention provide and monitor treatment programmes at home and ensure safe discharge or referral on to other services as appropriate
  • Work in partnership with patients, carers and other health and social care agencies to promote independence and develop individual plans of care relevant to patient need
  • Work jointly with other disciplines and maintain their own caseload

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
  • Car driver
