Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has locum roles for Social Services Occupational Therapists to work full-time based in Guildford, or Elmbridge or Redhill in Surrey, within the Equipment & Adaptions Team.

The pay rates for these locum Social Services Occupational Therapist jobs are £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and are initial1-month contracts.

Some home working, remote assessments via MS Teams and facetime may be applicable but mainly aimed at face-to-face assessments. Social distancing measures are in place and PPE to be provided as required to fulfil the duties.

Requirements of the Social Services Occupational Therapists:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
  • Equipment & Adaptations experience
  • Experience of completing moving and handling risk assessments, major and minor housing adaptations and assessing for, prescribing, and reviewing adaptive equipment
  • Car driver with access to a car
