Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 5 Community Rehab Occupational Therapist to work based in Thurrock.
The pay rate for this locum Community Rehab Occupational Therapist job is £17.08 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Shift Pattern:
- 08:30-16:30, Monday-Friday.
Main Duties:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team on a rehabilitation ward in a community hospital.
- Provide therapy assessment and rehabilitation programme for adults recovering from injury, surgery, or illness.
- Facilitate a safe discharge from the hospital.
Requirements of the Community Rehab Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least 2 years of post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist, including rehabilitation experience and competency in moving & handling, equipment prescription/ordering, and minor adaptations.
