Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to work based in West Bridgford.
The pay rate for this locum Community Occupational Therapist job is £28-£29 per hour (assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties:
- Contribute to a high-quality occupational therapy service to adults as part of the MDT providing a service within a residential setting, hospital, and community setting.
- Carry out assessment, goal setting, implementing, and evaluating treatment programmes for patients with complex problems/needs in conjunction with the patient/client, family /carers and the wider MDT.
- Work as part of the wider primary care team to provide a co-ordinated service to patients/clients.
- Facilitate and support timely discharge and prevent inappropriate admissions by supporting patients/clients to remain as independent as possible and maintain or improve their level of function.
- Be proactively involved in the development of the service.
Requirements of the Community Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- Recent post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle.
