Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Care Coordinator to work in Aylesbury on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 - £28 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
3 long days per week between Mon-Fri, shifts will be 7 am-9 pm with a 1hr break.
Duties:
- The Crisis Response and Home Treatment Team in Buckinghamshire Mental Health Services is a key part of the Urgent Care Pathway, meeting the demands of the Ten-Year Plan to provide Crisis Response and Home Treatment Services by 2021.
- Clinicians employed into the team will be a part of an exciting and developing service, aimed at supporting our most vulnerable patients and their families in the least restrictive setting possible, by providing a variety of highly intensive interventions at home. (Subject to COVID 19 regulations).
- We require clinicians who are used to working in a fast-paced team, and confident in managing risk in the least restrictive way.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Experience within Care Co-Ordination
