Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 8a Occupational Therapist to work in Newham on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £36 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a contract until 31.03.2021.
You will be working 37.5hrs though negotiable (flexible hours between 8am-6pm). Some weekend working may also be required (with subsequent or preceding days off during the week).
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- 2 years experience as an occupational therapist
- Experience working in acute NHS hospital
- Expereince in AAU, Rapid assessment, ED and acute high level decision making required
- Ability to support and educate more junior OT's
