Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 6/7 Community Occupational Therapist to work based in Romford and Ilford.
The pay rate for this locum Community Occupational Therapist job is £28-£34 per hour (assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Main Duties:
- Discharge planning from the acute setting.
- Home visits.
- Recommendation of care packages.
- Recommendation of equipment for ADL’s and mobility.
- Recommendation for rehabilitation.
- Work in the acute setting with medical/elderly patients.
Requirements of the Community Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of two years post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Full driving licence and access to personal vehicle (pool car is also available).
- Be flexible and adaptable, and able to work without direct supervision.
