Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to work based in Bedford.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist role is £29 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Responsible for providing a high standard of assessment, advice, treatment and evaluation of clients referred to the integrated services within the locality
- Working clients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions, including neurological conditions
- Work as part of a multi professional service, within the community setting, working with clients towards rehabilitation, self-management and independence throughout the continuum of care, to improve their outcomes. (Access to Physio Tools is available to support the design of individualised exercise plans)
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
