Sanctuary Health, a leading recruitment company, is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Acute Elderly Occupational Therapist to work in Leytonstone on a full-time basis.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £23.56 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Working hours: 37.5 hrs/week Monday to Friday needs to be able to work mix of early (8am - 4pm) and late (10am - 6pm) shifts.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification

Competent in assessment/treatment/discharge planning in acute care of the elderly/medical wards in a busy hospital.

Experience working in an acute NHS hospital within an MDT. Good communication skills. Knowledgeable in equipment provision for safe discharge.

Previous experience supervising therapy staff.
