Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work full-time in Newham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Summary:
- As postholder of this role you will be expected to have the ability to hold a caseload of up to 8 patients, assess, treat and provide input to MDT on and plan for discharge within a timely manner.
- If successful, you will support a new Band 5 OT with her small caseload of patients, through helping to prioritise and manage her caseload.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous NHS experience
- Experience managing older adults within the acute setting.
- Experience with recognising deteriorating patients.
