Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment agency has a job based in Bristol for a committed and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist. The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24.71 per hour (Assignment rate) and is unti; 02.07.2021.
Duties:
- Develop additional competencies within the requirements of the multi-disciplinary approach
- Provide a service that focuses on achieving and demonstrating overall improvements in health care for patients who are complex/frail, have urgent care needs and multiple long-term conditions
- Contribute to the clinical leadership to ensure high quality harm free care
- Attend and support MDT meetings
- Apply in-depth theoretical and working knowledge of varied conditions including medical, neurological, surgical, psychological, trauma and terminal conditions, then work with the implications of these on the quality of life of patients and carers.
- Use occupational therapy skills & techniques in assessment & interventions as an autonomous practitioner
- Develop additional competencies within the requirements of the multi-disciplinary approach to
- Create person centered, goal based treatment plans using outcome based approach which can be delegated and supported by unit colleagues.
- Promote a team approach to care by ensuring effective and appropriate networks with other members of the primary, secondary health care teams and other agencies.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience within a similar role
