Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector is looking for an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work full or part time in Luton.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25.23 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3 month contract.
Duties:
- The work would mainly involve assessment of children with functional difficulties e.g. eating, dressing, recording information in school with coordination difficulties. Rather than children requiring seating or equipment for those with a physical disability. They would therefore have to have experience of using standard and non-standardised assessments used with this group of children.
- Due to Covid we are mainly using virtual platforms for assessment and face to face only where essential.
- We operate from the Child Development Centre, Kempston and Redgrave Children and Young People's Centre, Luton but there will be a need to see and provide advice to children in their educational settings
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous occupational therapy experience
- Car driver
