Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Inpatient Occupational Therapist to work full-time within a Community Rehab Hospital based in Walton, Surrey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 per hour (assignment rate) and is available on an ongoing contract.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
Experience within Frail elderly rehab/complex discharge planning
You will be working within a fast-paced environment so previous A&E experience would be useful
Equipment knowledge and provision
Knowledge and experience of using patient transfer aids eg hoists, patient turners etc
You will be required to visit patients homes so you must be a car driver/provide driving license (Pool car available)
Have strong IT and communication skills
EMIS User is desirable
