Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Westminster on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 - £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Job Summary:
- The post holder will work on our traded pathway, supporting two special schools across three sites in West Wickham, St Paul's Cray and Beckenham.
- The students have a range of learning disabilities, ASD, physical disabilities, neurological disabilities, sensory processing and behavioural difficulties.
- Our service has developed a range of bespoke models based on multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working. We provide assessment, written advice plans, whole school training, intervention, working at universal, targeted and specialist level.
- During the pandemic, we have been working remotely via video consultation and have used this time to build positive relationships with parents.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- 2 years' experience
- Experience of providing training
- Experience working as part of multi-disciplinary and working within an educational environment is essential.
