Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5/6 Occupational Therapist to work in Blackburn on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £19.00 - £24.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 2-month contract.

This role will be based at multiple sites.

The postholder will be expected to support with community late cover until 8:00 pm and weekends when needed.

Duties:

  • Supporting patients in discharge to assess beds
  • Supporting rehabilitation in the community
  • Continuing health care assessments for equipment
  • Long term condition management

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
  • At least 2 years post qualifying experience within a similar role
  • Car driver
