Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 5 Inpatient Occupational Therapist to work based in Daventry.
The pay rate for this locum Inpatient Occupational Therapist role is £19.43 - £20 per hour (assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Working in an integrated multi professional inpatient team that includes physiotherapists, occupational therapist, ward matron, nurses, unregistered staff including therapy assistants, medical staff and wider trust colleagues
- Provide quality care for a group of patients, specialising in rehabilitation stepping down from acute hospitals and step up from the community
- Extensive involvement in ensuring patients are discharged safely which involves close working with colleagues from other services and liaison with family members and leading and participating in family meetings
- Manage own caseload, working with indirect supervision and work part of the MDT team
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist
