Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 5 Inpatient Occupational Therapist to work in Harlow on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24 - £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Manage a defined caseload of working age adults who have been admitted to the inpatient unit.
- Using evidence-based/client centred principals to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions from an occupational therapy perspective.
- You will be expected to act as a full member of the multidisciplinary team.
- You will provide support and guidance to unqualified members of staff and assist the senior occupational therapist with supervising students on practice placement.
- You will be asked to contribute to the ongoing development of the service and to participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the service within the team.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- Must have 2 years' experience
