Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 4 Occupational Therapy Assistant to work full-time in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapy Assistant job is £14.55 - £15.73 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 4-month contract.
This role will deliver therapy and care support to a wide range of clients with complex health and social care needs.
Duties:
- To work both independently and alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists as part of the integrated team to deliver agreed programmes of rehabilitative intervention
- To respect and maintain confidentiality and have the ability to use own initiative, work with some supervision to meet deadlines and maintain a flexible approach.
- Responsible for defined delegated caseload working under the supervision of a qualified therapist
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent within occupational therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous NHS experience
