Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to work in an Urgent care Team based in Plymouth on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist job is £25 per hour and is a 5-month contract. Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Main areas covered/Responsibilities:
- PT/OT assessment
- Manual Handling Assessment
- Setting Goal Plans/Therapy plans
- Working as part of an MDT
- Facilitating a person centred approach
- Assessing, arranging, monitoring and reviewing intermediate care and reablement plans
- Environmental Assessment
- Prescribing care
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post-qualification
- Must be a car driver
- Experience in the following- Rehab, recovery, reablement, intermediate care, hospital discharge
