Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work full-time within an Adolescent Outreach CAMHS Team based in Tooting. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of occupational therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist role is £28 - £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 4-month contract.
This role will be working from home.
Duties:
- Act as a Care Co-ordinator within AOT, delivering timely and accessible assessment and treatment to young people aged 12-18
- Work with these highly complex young people and their families, making appropriate useful formulations and providing interventions or making recommendations
- Effective management of these high-risk cases within the community
- Liaise with colleagues in Adult Mental Health Services and Early Intervention Services
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational therapy
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- CAMHS experience
